Despite being given time from 8 am to meet their party’s founder, no Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including Barrister Gohar, have arrived at Adiala Jail to meet Imran Khan.

PTI leaders were granted permission to meet Imran Khan, but none of the approved members have shown up so far.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, among others, was expected at the prison for the visit.

According to jail officials, Imran Khan was informed of the meeting arrangements as early as 6 am today.

Meanwhile, PTI's Secretary of Information, Sheikh Waqas Akram, stated that Adiala authorities have denied permission to Salman Akram Raja, another party figure, to meet Imran Khan.

Only Barrister Gohar, Ali Zafar, and Asad Qaiser have been cleared for the meeting.

Sheikh Waqas also revealed that Barrister Gohar has decided not to proceed with the visit until all nominated individuals are cleared. Currently, he is standing outside the jail alongside Sahibzada Hamid Raza.

Yesterday, senior PTI leader, Barrister Ali Zafar, had confirmed that the PTI delegation has been granted permission to meet the party's founder, Imran Khan, at 8 am today.

A five-member team of PTI leaders will meet the party’s founder. The delegation includes Barrister Ali Zafar, Barrister Gohar, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Asad Qaiser, and Salman Akram Raja.

Barrister Ali Zafar stated that a formal request was made to the government for this meeting. "We will go in the morning, and we will do whatever Khan Sahib directs," he added.
