Three women, one girl found murdered with slit throats near Lee Market in Karachi's Lyari
The bodies of three women and a minor girl were discovered in a flat near Zainab Arcade, Bantwa Gali, in the Lee Market area of Karachi's Lyari. locality
The bodies were found on the seventh floor of a flat in Zainab Arcade, Bantwa Gali, Express News reported.
All four women were killed by having their throats slit, while their bodies also showed signs of torture. The women were killed in separate rooms of the flat.
Rescue officials reported that the deceased included 13-year-old Alina, 18-year-old Madiha, 19-year-old Ayesha, and 51-year-old Shahnaz. The police have transferred the bodies to Civil Hospital for further legal procedures.
SSP City Arif Aziz stated that all four women were in the house at the time of the murder, and the killer fled with the murder weapon.
Efforts are being made to retrieve footage from CCTV cameras installed in Bantwa Gali.
The head of the household, Muhammad Farooq, explained that the deceased included his wife, daughter, granddaughter, and a daughter-in-law.
He and his two sons were not home at the time of the incident. When they returned and knocked on the door with no response, his son used a spare key to open it.
Farooq added that they have no suspicions and no known enmity with anyone. He requested the police to investigate the case and provide justice.
