A web series based on the life of notorious Indian gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, known for issuing death threats to Bollywood star Salman Khan, has been announced by Johnny Firefox Film Production House.

The series will explore Bishnoi's criminal journey, including his alleged involvement in the murders of several high-profile figures.

Titled "Lawrence: A Gangster Story," the series will depict Bishnoi’s transformation from an ordinary youth to one of India’s most feared gangsters.

According to reports from Indian media, the Indian Motion Pictures Association has already given approval for the series title.

Amit Jani, the head of the production house, has a history of producing projects based on real events.

Jani shared that the aim is to present an authentic and gripping portrayal of real-life events, connecting audiences with a dramatic and truthful narrative.

The release date of the series is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, security at Salman Khan's residence has been tightened following new death threats, demanding an extortion amount of approximately $600,000.

According to the Mumbai Police, the threats were delivered via WhatsApp to the Mumbai Traffic Police, warning Khan to "settle his long-standing dispute with Lawrence Bishnoi."

The message, allegedly sent by an associate of Bishnoi’s gang, read: "If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end his enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay ₹5 crore. If not, his fate will be worse than Baba Siddique’s."

These threats emerged just days after Baba Siddique was murdered in Mumbai on October 12. Four suspects have been arrested so far in connection with the assassination.
