Niall Horan mourns Liam Payne after death, pays emotional tribute to former One Direction bandmate

Niall Horan has expressed his deep sorrow following the tragic death of his former One Direction bandmate, Liam Payne. Payne, 31, passed away on October 16 after falling from multiple stories at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, confirmed by the Policía Federal Argentina.
 

Horan took to social media on October 18 to post a touching tribute, calling Payne “the brightest in every room” and recalling their shared memories. Horan shared his devastation, saying, “It just doesn’t feel real,” and reflected on the bond they had formed during their time in One Direction.

Horan also mentioned seeing Payne at his recent concert in Buenos Aires on October 2, adding, “I feel so fortunate that I got to see him recently. It’s heartbreaking.” Payne’s passing has left One Direction fans and fellow band members mourning the loss of a beloved friend and colleague. Payne and Horan performed together from 2010 to 2016, achieving international stardom with the band’s chart-topping hits.
