Disney’s beloved animated series Phineas and Ferb is set to return in 2025 with its original cast and creators.

The revival was announced at New York Comic-Con, where co-creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh revealed details about the upcoming season, which will feature 104 new days of summer vacation. Cast members returning include Vincent Martella (Phineas), David Errigo Jr. (Ferb), Ashley Tisdale (Candace), and Dee Bradley Baker (Perry the Platypus), among others.

Povenmire, who also voices Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, shared that the new season will continue to follow the inventive stepbrothers as they embark on new adventures. “Candace is more determined than ever to bust her little brothers,” Disney noted. The panel also introduced teaser art and discussed how the writing staff will consist of a mix of returning writers and new talent, including Olivia Olson, the voice of Vanessa Doofenshmirtz.

Initially announced in January 2023, the revival will consist of 40 episodes. During its original run from 2008 to 2015, Phineas and Ferb became a major success for Disney, earning five Emmys and becoming one of the company’s most successful animated shows. All original seasons and movies are currently streaming on Disney+.
