Scholarships announced for tribespeople

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti announced that scholarships are being provided to tribal area students for both national and international universities. He also announced interest-free loans for the educated unemployed tribal youth to help them start businesses.

The announcement was made during a tribal jirga held in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan. Apart from the CM, it was attended by the Balochistan corps commander, local elders, senior civil and military officials, women, and local residents.

During the jirga, participants met with tribal elders, notables, and representatives from various sections of society to discuss the region's issues.

The CM emphasised that no one will be allowed to disrupt peace and development in Balochistan, condemning the killing of unarmed laborers in the province as a tragic act.
