Zayn Malik has shared an emotional tribute to his former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne, who tragically passed away at age 31 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.
Malik took to Instagram, writing, "Liam, I have found myself talking out loud to you... I never got to thank you for supporting me through some of the most difficult times in my life." Despite their complicated history, Malik expressed deep grief and reflected on their friendship.
Payne’s family also released a statement expressing their heartbreak and remembering him as a kind and brave soul. Payne’s sudden death has left the music world in shock, with investigations ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
