Niall Horan's brother, Greg Horan, expressed his deep sorrow following the tragic death of former One Direction member Liam Payne at the age of 31. Payne, who passed away after falling from a Buenos Aires hotel, was remembered by Greg as a "top young man" who cared for his younger brother Niall during their time in the band. 

Greg shared his tribute on Instagram, recalling the early days when their families came together, stating, “You were a top young boy to a man… you will be forever missed.”

Payne died on Wednesday evening, with witnesses reporting that he fell from his room at the Casa Sur Palmero Hotel. Local authorities launched an investigation into the death, revealing that they responded to reports of an aggressive man who may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The director of Buenos Aires emergency services, Alberto Crescenti, confirmed, “Liam suffered serious injuries that were incompatible with life.”

In addition to Greg’s tribute, Harry Styles’ mother, Anne Twist, also shared her grief on Instagram, posting a broken heart emoji with the caption, “Just a boy…” Many fans and celebrities have expressed their shock and heartbreak over Payne's untimely death, with tributes flooding social media.
