First operation took place in Quetta, where 20kg of cannabis were recovered from three individuals

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) in Balochistan has intensified its crackdown on drug smuggling, leading to the arrest of three suspects.

In two separate operations, a total of 68 kilograms of drugs valued at Rs4,700,000 were seized, according to an ANF spokesperson.

The first operation took place near Sariab Road, Quetta, where 20 kilograms of cannabis were recovered from three individuals, according to Express News.

In a separate operation on the coastline of Gwadar, 48 kilograms of cannabis were found hidden in bushes.

The suspects have been charged under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations into their activities are underway.

The ANF has pledged to continue its efforts to dismantle drug trafficking networks in the region.

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) had arrested two drug dealers near a major university in Quetta, seizing 2 kilograms of crystal meth (commonly known as ice) and 40 ecstasy pills.

The arrests were part of an ongoing nationwide crackdown on drug peddlers targeting educational institutions.

According to ANF officials, the first suspect, a resident of Pishin, had been apprehended near a hotel close to the university, while the second suspect, also from Pishin, was arrested in a residential area adjacent to the university.

Both suspects had admitted during interrogation that they had been selling drugs to university students.

Two weeks ago, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) in another raid had seized more than two tons of Hashish and had arrested four drug smugglers in Quetta.

According to an ANF spokesman, a major operation against drug smuggling was carried out on the Western Bypass near Mengalabad in Quetta.

The suspects had attempted to smuggle drugs from Chaman to Sindh via Quetta.

A case was registered against the arrested accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations were underway to arrest other members of the group.
