A dilapidated three-storey building collapsed near Old City Area Pan Mandi. Fortunately, no lives were lost.
The building, located near Pan Mandi Ganga B compound in Risala police station area, was being demolished by labourers when it collapsed.
Police and rescue agencies responded quickly after being alerted. According to SHO Risala Ali Nawaz Zardari, the building was in a dilapidated condition.
Rescue 1122 spokesperson confirmed this and added that the building was considered a heritage structure. Rescue 1122 personnel have begun clearing the debris.
