NFL star Travis Kelce has added another title to his growing list of roles by stepping into the spotlight as the host of Prime Video’s new game show Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?

The show, which premiered on October 16, is a spin-off of the popular Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? but without the participation of children. In this version, one contestant faces a “classroom” of celebrities, including comedians, reality stars, and fellow athletes, to answer grade school-level trivia questions. Celebrities like Lala Kent and Ron Funches appear in the episodes, assisting contestants with questions.

Kelce, known for his NFL career and relationship with pop star Taylor Swift, impressed viewers with his hosting skills. According to The Daily Beast, Kelce keeps the show light and humorous, engaging with both contestants and the audience. The format is more relaxed than previous quiz shows, with the celebrities admitting their lack of confidence in the answers and sharing personal stories.

Despite a simpler set design and toned-down stakes, Kelce's performance as a host has been well-received, with The Daily Beast noting he is "remarkably good at the gig."
