Trainee judges hone jurisprudence skills

Visit Islamabad, Murree and Nathia Gali as part of judicial training

ISLAMABAD:

Participants of the ongoing 5-week Pre-Service Training for Civil Judges-cum-Judicial Magistrates and illaqa qazis from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy (KPJA) recently concluded a 3-day study visit to Islamabad, Murree, and Nathia Gali.

The trip aimed to enhance the judicial knowledge and expertise of the trainee judges.

Led by KPJA Faculty Dean Ziaur Rehman along with Director Instructions-III Wajid Ali, and Administrative Officer Sajid Amin, the delegation visited key judicial institutions in Islamabad, including the Federal Judicial Academy (FJA), the Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan, and the Shariah Academy at the International Islamic University Islamabad.

On the first day of the visit, the delegation was warmly received by Acting Director General of the FJA, Fakhar Zaman. Participants attended informative sessions, including lectures on "Presentation Skills" and "Artificial Intelligence," delivered by the esteemed faculty at FJA. Additionally, Ziaur Rehman briefed the attendees on the objectives and administrative structure of the KPJA.

The visit concluded with an exchange of souvenirs between the KPJA and FJA, reinforcing their commitment to collaborative learning and judicial excellence.

The second day saw the delegation visiting the Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan, where they were welcomed by Matiur Rehman, Senior Director of Research and Publication.
