Cop killed in road accident

A police van met an accident near Farsh Mor within the Sazin police station area which caused it to fall into a deep ditch. The police official in the van died in the accident.

According to the details, the accident took place while the police van was on duty at Farsh Mor near Sazin police station. When the van hurtled off the edge of the road, it fell into a deep ditch. Head Constable Faizur Rehman who was in the van at the time was martyred on the spot while Constable Ghiyasuddin was injured.

The funeral prayer of the deceased police official was performed with official honours at Upper Kohistan Police Headquarters in which MNA Malik Idris, MPA Fazal Haq, District Police Officer Mukhtiar Ahmed, SP Investigation Muhammad Siddique, Pakistan Army officers, the Assistant Commissioner, scholars, political and social figures, family members of the deceased and the general public.
