Tom Holland fans criticize KSI for joking about his non-alcoholic beer launch
YouTuber and musician Olajide "KSI" found himself in controversy once again, this time facing backlash from Tom Holland’s fans after criticizing the actor’s non-alcoholic beer brand, BERO.
Holland, who has openly discussed his struggles with alcohol in the past, launched the beverage on October 16. KSI took to X, jokingly criticizing the launch, stating, "What happened to actors, man... This is selling stuff for the sake of making money." He also compared Holland's venture to his own criticized brand, Lunchly.
Fans of Holland quickly reacted, condemning KSI's comments. One user pointed out Holland's past struggles with alcoholism, saying, "Tom Holland openly spoke up about his alcohol addiction... You are a lowlife piece of sh*t." Another fan added, "Tom Holland is doing this not only for himself but others that struggle with being alcoholics."
Tom Holland, had a drinking problem, basically was an alcoholic, every waking second he thought about drinking, he went sober and took month by month and fought the struggle of addiction to alcohol… he decided to make something to help others that are facing addiction Fuck you https://t.co/Ag2JwhVX9g

Tom Holland is doing this for not only himself, but others that struggle with being alcoholics. Fuck you and fuck your shitty lunchables, give up the stupid petty one sided drama, you're literally 31 years old https://t.co/WttdwSqtUH
Tom Holland openly spoke up about his alcohol addiction in the past, which led to him doing research and funding his own company that would produce an alcohol free beverage that would help others to steer away from these struggles.

You are a lowlife piece of shit. https://t.co/z96uBT4FAa
Tom Holland and Zendaya making a non-alcoholic beer brand for recovering alcoholics is not REMOTELY the same as you making an unhealthy alternative to Lunchables and marketing it to kids😭😭 https://t.co/SmKp8q6Gmk

In response to the backlash, KSI clarified that his comments were meant as a joke, referencing his previous issues with DanTDM. "For those of you that don’t know, I’m not serious... As someone that doesn’t drink alcohol anymore, I think it’s a dope idea." KSI further addressed the issue by expressing support for Holland’s product and stated, "I’m always happy when actors, YouTubers, etc. produce new products for people."
Despite KSI's explanation, many fans remained upset, criticizing him for making light of Holland’s personal struggles.
