Tom Holland fans criticize KSI for joking about his non-alcoholic beer launch

KSI faces backlash from Tom Holland fans after joking about the actor's non-alcoholic beer launch, BERO.

YouTuber and musician Olajide "KSI" found himself in controversy once again, this time facing backlash from Tom Holland’s fans after criticizing the actor’s non-alcoholic beer brand, BERO.

Holland, who has openly discussed his struggles with alcohol in the past, launched the beverage on October 16. KSI took to X, jokingly criticizing the launch, stating, "What happened to actors, man... This is selling stuff for the sake of making money." He also compared Holland's venture to his own criticized brand, Lunchly.

Fans of Holland quickly reacted, condemning KSI's comments. One user pointed out Holland's past struggles with alcoholism, saying, "Tom Holland openly spoke up about his alcohol addiction... You are a lowlife piece of sh*t." Another fan added, "Tom Holland is doing this not only for himself but others that struggle with being alcoholics."

In response to the backlash, KSI clarified that his comments were meant as a joke, referencing his previous issues with DanTDM. "For those of you that don’t know, I’m not serious... As someone that doesn’t drink alcohol anymore, I think it’s a dope idea." KSI further addressed the issue by expressing support for Holland’s product and stated, "I’m always happy when actors, YouTubers, etc. produce new products for people."

Despite KSI's explanation, many fans remained upset, criticizing him for making light of Holland’s personal struggles.
