PTI offered no input on 26th amend: Tarar

ISLAMABAD:

Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar has disclosed that PTI has not submitted a single recommendation regarding constitutional amendments in the seven meetings of the Special Committee.

In a post on his X handle, the law minister on Tuesday said the "naysayers" of the proposed constitutional amendment failed to identify a single section which is in contravention of any basic human right, public interest, spirit of the Constitution or independence of judiciary.

He pointed out the 26th constitutional amendment is being viewed only through an opposition lens, while PTI has not furnished even a single recommendation.
