Bilawal's tweets irk legal practitioner

Bilawal tweeted using derogatory terms for the petitioners, labelling them as "poor petitioners"

KARACHI:

The constitutional petition challenging the 26th constitutional amendment was taken up by the High Court of Sindh on Monday, but dismissed on maintainability.

The counsel for the petitioners, Advocate Ebrahim Saifuddin, however, took a strong exception to the tweets of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on the issue.

"The order brought much joy to the PPP chairman as he probably saw a ray of light shining on the promised seat," Saifuddin said in a statement.

He said that Bilawal tweeted about the order while using derogatory terms for the petitioners, labelling them as "poor petitioners" and going to the extent of referring the legal fraternity opposing the clandestine 26th amendment as "so called lawyers".
