The Rangers and police, during the joint operation against Kutcha area dacoits, raided the hideouts of Nisar Sabzoi gang in Garhi Tegho, Shikarpur district, and killed the notorious dacoits Hakim Ali Teghani and Jugan Teghani, while several other gangsters were injured.

The Sindh government had set a bounty of Rs2 million on dacoit Hakim Teghani.

According to the Rangers spokesperson, the joint operation by Sindh Rangers and police was successfully conducted on intelligence-based information, using modern technical resources. The dacoits opened fire on the raiding party. In the retaliatory action, dacoit Hakim Teghani was killed on the spot, and Jugan Teghani was injured who later succumbed to his injuries.

During the operation, government properties in the illegal occupation of the dacoits were also vacated.

The Rangers spokesperson has appealed to the public to identify crimiunal elements and other influential individuals who shelter them and assist law enforcement agencies in making Sindh free of criminals.
