With the rising intensity of dengue cases in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, monitoring efforts have been intensified.

During the past week, under the province-wide dengue surveillance, the Health Department inspected 219,501 houses, finding dengue larvae in 379 of them. Following this, the department has initiated additional measures to eliminate the larvae.

According to the department's report, lady health workers (LHWs) and community health workers (CHWs) visited these homes to take effective steps using mechanical methods to destroy mosquito breeding sites.
