UK rapper and YouTuber Yung Filly, whose real name is Andrés Felipe Valencia Barrientos, has been charged with multiple counts of rape and assault following an incident in Perth, Western Australia.
Video footage has surfaced showing Yung Filly dancing in the VIP section of Bar1 nightclub on September 27, hours before the alleged assault occurred. The footage, obtained by Daily Mail Australia, captures him singing and dancing while being watched by female admirers.
Barrientos, 27, was arrested by Queensland Police two weeks later in Brisbane and extradited to Western Australia. He faces four counts of rape, three counts of assault causing bodily harm, and one count of impeding the victim’s breathing by applying pressure to her neck. The alleged victim, a woman in her 20s, has not been publicly identified for legal reasons.

Barrientos appeared in Perth Magistrates Court last Thursday, where he was granted bail under strict conditions, including the surrender of his passport and a requirement to remain in Western Australia. He is scheduled to appear in court again on December 19.
In the aftermath of the arrest, social media has seen a surge of unfounded claims aimed at discrediting the alleged victim, with accusations that she had previously made similar allegations against another celebrity.
