Joe Rogan’s 14.5M followers could be key to Trump’s success as Harris considers JRE appearance
Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris may soon sit down with Joe Rogan for an interview, as sources revealed her campaign has been in talks with the podcaster’s team this week.
While the appearance remains unconfirmed, Harris isn’t the only one eyeing a spot on "The Joe Rogan Experience." Former President Donald Trump has also expressed his intent to appear on the podcast during an interview with ‘The NELK Boys’ on the "Full Send Podcast." He shared that Rogan hasn’t yet confirmed the plans, but his team seems eager to make it happen.
On FOX’s ‘The Big Weekend Show,’ Republican strategist Lisa Boothe emphasized that Trump should capitalize on the opportunity.
“Donald Trump should 100% go to Joe Rogan. 14.5 million followers follow his podcast on Spotify,” Boothe said. “It allows Americans to see Donald Trump for who he is.”
Rogan’s podcast is a prime platform to reach young male voters, many of whom polls show lean toward Trump.
Harris, too, could use this as an opportunity to boost her support among young African American men as the presidential race narrows in key swing states.
Despite past tensions between Rogan and Trump, both candidates seem ready to face the host’s massive audience as the 2024 election approaches.
Rogan, known for hosting thought-provoking and sometimes controversial discussions, has yet to confirm either guest for the show.
