Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris might join popular podcaster Joe Rogan for an interview, aiming to strengthen her appeal to male voters, particularly younger men, sources revealed on Monday.

Harris' campaign team recently met with Rogan's representatives, but no interview has been confirmed yet, according to two sources familiar with the situation.

Rogan, who hosts the most popular podcast in the U.S., has a loyal audience in the tens of millions.

The potential interview provides Harris a chance to connect with his audience, particularly as she focuses on gaining support from male voters, especially Black men. Public polls suggest Republican candidate Donald Trump might perform well among young male voters across all racial groups.

On Monday, Harris unveiled a new set of policy proposals aimed at Black male voters, and her campaign is intensifying outreach to this traditionally Democratic-leaning group.

Her team also announced an upcoming interview with Fox News, a network known for conservative commentary that frequently supports Trump.

Trump indicated on Monday that he also plans to appear on Rogan's podcast before the November 5th Election Day.

Although Trump and Rogan have clashed before, Trump recently referred to Rogan as a "good guy" after previously criticizing him on Truth Social in August.

In 2022, Rogan mentioned he did not support Trump and, in August, expressed his preference for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as president. Kennedy has since left the race and endorsed Trump.

The potential interview could benefit both Harris and Trump, as polls show the race between the two is extremely close, with the outcome likely hinging on results from seven key swing states.
