Girl kidnapped, sexually assaulted

A student of sixth class and two teenagers were sexually assaulted in the Jaranwala area.

Police said the 13-year-old girl, a student of the sixth class, was going to Government High School of Saddar Jaranwala police station, when the accused Abdul Wahid kidnapped her at gunpoint.

He took her to the fields and intoxicated her before sexually assaulting her. Then he dropped her in a state of unconsciousness near the school in the evening and ran away.

The girl was shifted to the hospital for treatment.

The police registered a case and started raids to arrest the suspect. In another incident, a 14-year-old girl was abducted by accused Zeeshan in Asim Town area of D Type Colony police station, while a 13-year-old resident of Allahabad in Street 5 Palak Chowk of Batala Colony was abducted by accused Faizan while going from home to the market.

The suspects sexually assaulted the victims. The police registered the cases and started raids to arrest the accused.

Meanwhile, a woman who came to DHQ Hospital for child birth died along with her baby due to the alleged negligence of doctors.

The police reached the spot and started an investigation.

Sughran Bibi, was brought to the hospital for delivery, where the doctors did not operate on her Sughran Bibi and the baby in her womb died.
