Court seeks response on sealing Alvi's clinic

The court remarked that due to time constraints, the matter will be heard in detail at the next hearing.

KARACHI:

The Sindh High Court has sought comments from all the parties on the petition against sealing the clinic of former president of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi.

During the hearing, the petitioner's lawyer Anwar Mansoor Khan said in his stand that the authorities have sealed the clinic, which is an absolutely illegal act. At the dental clinic, patients visit on a daily basis. Several patients have already undergone dental surgeries, their treatment is ongoing and they pay follow up visits. The patient's records are sealed in the clinic. The honourable court is requested to issue immediate order to reopen the dental clinic.
