The Peshawar High Court has approved interim bail for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Raja Basharat, Alia Hamza, and Sanam Javed.

The hearing for Raja Basharat's bail application took place before Justice Faheem Wali, Express News reported.

The applicant's lawyer, Alam Khan Adeenzi, argued that Raja Basharat is facing terrorism charges in Taxila, which he claims are politically motivated and unfounded. He assured the court that Raja Basharat intends to appear before the relevant court but fears arrest.

The court granted Basharat interim bail until November 3 and ordered him to appear in the specified court.

Similarly, hearings for Alia Hamza and Sanam Javed's bail applications were also conducted in front of Justice Faheem Wali. The court approved their interim bail until November 8.

Moreover, Sanam Javed has called on the government to facilitate a meeting with former Prime Minister Imran Khan, urging them not to force the party into protests.

Sanam Javed arrived at the Peshawar High Court to secure interim and protective bail ahead of the planned protest in Islamabad. Speaking to the media, she stated, "We are here to secure bail before the protest. Just arrange a meeting with Khan Sahib; do not force us into protest. We only want to know about the wellbeing of the founder of PTI."

In her remarks, Sanam emphasised that they do not invade anyone's homes and are not troublemakers. She pointed out that if Ali Amin Gandapur wanted to instigate violence, he could have done so, but chose not to.

She added that PTI chairman Barrister Gohar has requested the Ministry of Interior to arrange a meeting with Imran Khan. "If they do not facilitate this meeting, we will be compelled to protest," she warned.
