‘Anything4Views’ aka Chad addresses controversial remarks

YouTube personality Chad, known as Anything4Views, recently addressed past controversial behavior during a livestream.

On October 14, the ‘Cold Ones’ podcast co-host posted an update on X, formerly Twitter, where he reflected on offensive comments he made when he was younger. Chad admitted to saying “horrid racist and sexist things” to gain approval from an online community.

“I said some horrid racist and sexist things on stream because it made a chat move quicker and made me feel like it was entertaining,” he revealed. Chad further explained that his behavior ultimately led to a permanent ban from Twitch, an experience that he described as devastating. “When I inevitably got banned for the s**t I was saying, it broke me completely, but looking back at it now, it was a good thing because it forced me to take a step back and think about what I was saying and the impact it had.”

In his statement, Chad expressed regret for his past actions, apologizing for being what he called a “selfish dumba**.” He said, “I’m not proud of myself yet, but I’m proud of what we’re making and I am proud of the team I am privileged to share walls with and call my friends.”

Chad also acknowledged that reflecting on his past mistakes is difficult, stating, “I absolutely tear myself up inside.” He concluded by emphasizing the importance of accountability, sharing, “I feel like I owe you guys some accountability for being as stupid as I was.”

Despite his past, Chad remains committed to creating new content and building a positive future with his team.
