Gold prices in Pakistan increase for third day in a row
Gold prices in both the international and local markets have seen a minor increase.
In the local gold markets, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs200, reaching Rs275,700.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs171, settling at Rs236,368.
In contrast to the rising prices of gold, the price of silver remained stable, with the price per tola unchanged at Rs3,050. The price for 10 grams of silver also held steady at Rs2,614.88.
The international bullion market reported a rise of $3 in the price of gold, bringing the new price to $2,659 per ounce.
Yesterday, locally, the price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs1,600 per tola, reaching Rs275,500.
The price for 10 grams of gold also saw an increase of Rs1,372, bringing it to Rs236,197.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold surged by $16 per ounce, bringing the new global rate to $2,656 per ounce.
