JI vows continued fight for power bill relief

LAHORE:

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has declared that the party's struggle will persist until the government implements the Rawalpindi agreement to reduce electricity bills.

Addressing the nation, he asserted that the government must take concrete steps to bring down the cost of electricity.

In an online meeting chaired by Hafiz Naeem, members from across the country, including 47,000 men and 7,000 women from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta, participated.

During his speech, Hafiz Naeem reiterated that the goal of JI's "Haq Do Awam Ko" movement is to ensure justice for the public.
