SC principal seat on holiday from Oct 14

The Supreme Court's principal seat in Islamabad will observe holidays on October 14, 15, and 16.

However, benches will continue to operate at the Supreme Court's registries in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta.

The Supreme Court has issued a notification confirming the bench formations for the upcoming judicial week. On October 14, a bench consisting of Justice Aminuddin Khan and Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan will hear cases at the Lahore registry.

Meanwhile, the Karachi registry will have two regular benches on the same day, with one bench comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Irfan Saadat Khan, and the other comprising Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Aqeel Abbasi.

For October 15 and 16, the Peshawar registry will form a regular bench consisting of Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Mussarat Hilali.

Additionally, the Lahore registry will continue hearings with Justice Aminuddin Khan and Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan presiding over cases. In Karachi, Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Aqeel Abbasi will also hear cases.
