Man accused of abusing physically-challenged niece

A man has been accused for abusing his eight years old physically challenged niece in an agricultural field in Benazirabad district. The B-Section police on Saturday registered an FIR on the state's complaint accusing Imam Bux Maitlo for raping his sister's daughter, Rashidaa.
According to the police, three police constables and a driver were patrolling in their jurisdiction on October 11 when they heard cries of a child coming from a banana orchard of Ameer Bux Umrani. When they reached the place following her voice they saw Maitlo physically abusing the child.
The cops claimed that Mailto escaped from the spot. They later shifted Rashidaa, who was partially unconscious, to People Medical College hospital in Nawabshah where her DNA sample was also taken.
Grandmother Zahida Parveen Maitlo was later called to the police station who identified the child and her son who allegedly had raped her. The FIR has been registered under section 375 of Pakistan Penal Code. The accused is still at large.
