Golf: Hat-trick of wins for Dyson
Simon Dyson claimed his third Dutch Open title in six years
HILVERSUM:
Simon Dyson claimed his third Dutch Open title in six years with a one-shot win over fellow Briton David Lynn. A closing four-under-par 66 for a 12-under 268 earned him victory. Dyson began the final round two strokes adrift of Gary Orr and James Kingston. However, a three-birdie run from the 12th took him past early front-runner Orr and to the top of the leaderboard. A birdie finish by Dyson was then just enough to hold off Lynn. Dyson’s win was his second of the season and the sixth of his career, taking him into the world’s top 50.
