Frank Fritz, former star of 'American Pickers', passed away on September 30, 2024, from complications related to a stroke.

According to Fritz’s death certificate obtained by TMZ, the official cause of death was listed as "late sequela of cerebral infarction," a medical term indicating the effects of a prior stroke. Fritz’s death was also influenced by cerebral vascular disease, which affects blood flow in the brain.

The death certificate revealed that Fritz suffered from additional health issues, including aortic stenosis, which hinders blood flow from the heart, and COPD, both of which contributed to his declining health. His death was confirmed as natural, occurring at 8:50 PM, and his body has since been cremated.

Fritz was a prominent figure on 'American Pickers' from 2010 until his departure in 2020. Two years later, in July 2022, he suffered a stroke, which ultimately led to his death. The stroke also helped mend his strained relationship with co-star Mike Wolfe, who was with Fritz during his final moments.

In an interview with The U.S. Sun, Fritz’s close friend Jerry Gendreau spoke about Fritz’s long battle with health issues, including Crohn's disease. Gendreau revealed that Fritz had plans to return to 'American Pickers' but his declining health prevented him from making a comeback.
