Music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is reportedly finding it tough to adjust to life behind bars, particularly with the food served in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where he’s awaiting trial. According to his attorney Marc Agnifilo, Combs' biggest challenge has been the prison meals. "The food’s probably the roughest part of it," Agnifilo told reporters following a status conference in Manhattan on October 10, 2024.

Combs, who was indicted on sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution-related charges in September, appeared motionless during his court hearing, where a trial date of May 5, 2025, was set. Prosecutors claim that Combs orchestrated so-called “freak offs,” in which women were allegedly forced or coerced into performing with male sex workers.

While Combs remains in custody, his legal team is fighting for bail, having already faced two denials due to concerns over potential witness tampering. His family, including his mother and children, attended the hearing in a show of support, according to sources close to the family.

In a related legal filing, Combs' attorneys have requested that leaked surveillance footage showing a 2016 assault on his ex, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura, be concealed. Prosecutors deny leaking the video, claiming they did not possess it prior to CNN’s publication of the footage.

Combs' legal battle continues, with his next court appearance scheduled for early 2025.
