British rapper and YouTube personality Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, has been extradited from Queensland to Perth to face serious charges of sexual assault.

The 29-year-old is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s at a hotel room just hours after his performance at Bar1 nightclub in Hillarys on September 28.

WA Police charged Barrientos with four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count of impeding a person’s normal breathing by applying pressure to the neck.

The rapper, a prominent online figure known for his collaborations with British collectives like Beta Squad and Sidemen, was escorted by authorities from Brisbane to Perth. Yung Filly is due to face the Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday.

Detectives from the sex assault squad had flown to Brisbane to carry out the extradition, following his performance at Havana Nightclub two days earlier.

Despite the charges, it is important to note that the allegations remain unproven, and the rapper is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Yung Filly, who has amassed over 10 million streams on Spotify, is well-known in the entertainment world for his collaborations with artists like Aitch and his hosting gigs on BBC's 'Hot Property' and Channel 4’s 'The Great Celebrity Bake Off'.

He also has a massive social media following, with more than six million followers across TikTok and Instagram. Additionally, he has partnered with major brands like ASOS, McDonald's, and Captain Morgan rum.
