During a recent rally in Reading, Pennsylvania, Donald Trump launched an attack on Howard Stern, a once-frequent collaborator of his. Trump criticized Stern for his recent interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, calling him a "weak guy" who posed soft questions. Trump further ridiculed Stern by stating, "I used to think he was good, but then I dropped him. I dropped him like a dog."

This isn't the first time Trump has taken aim at Stern. Their relationship, which was once close, has deteriorated over the years. Stern, who frequently had Trump on his show during the "good old days," has since distanced himself from the former president, particularly during the 2016 election. Stern has been critical of Trump's presidency and has even embraced being labeled "woke" for his progressive stances, further fueling the rift between the two.

Trump's comments during the rally are part of a broader trend in which he targets public figures who have publicly criticized or opposed him. This latest exchange highlights the escalating tension between the former president and the once-iconic radio host.

He devoted a significant portion of his speech to criticizing Vice President Harris, labeling her “stupid” and asserting that she is “a dumb person,” a derogatory remark he has made on several occasions during past rallies.

Following his harsh remarks about Goldberg, Warren, and Harris, Trump revealed that a staff member had urged him to refrain from calling the vice president “dumb,” warning that it could damage his appeal to female voters.
