Sean "Diddy" Combs and his legal team have accused federal authorities of leaking a video showing him assaulting his former partner, Cassie, during their relationship. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Diddy's lawyers claim the Department of Homeland Security was behind the leak of the disturbing footage, which was aired by CNN. The video shows Diddy violently beating Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel hallway.

The legal team alleges misconduct by federal officials in Diddy's ongoing criminal case, suggesting that the leak was orchestrated to damage his defense. The documents specifically target Homeland Security, not the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and request an evidentiary hearing to address the alleged misconduct. Diddy’s attorneys are pushing for the judge to determine the appropriate course of action in response.

Additionally, Diddy’s legal team accused federal agents of excessive force during recent raids on his homes in Los Angeles and Miami. They claim his children were handcuffed during the operation, which they describe as unnecessarily harsh.

The legal battle follows a series of accusations against Diddy, who has been charged with sex trafficking and racketeering. His attorney previously criticized the raids, calling them a "gross overuse of military-level force."

Diddy and Cassie were in a relationship for several years, and the resurfaced video has added a new dimension to the legal drama surrounding the music mogul. Diddy continues to deny the allegations made against him.
