Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, kept girlfriend Taylor Swift waiting for an hour on a private jet as they prepared for a trip to the East Coast. According to USA Today, Swift and her father, Scott Swift, boarded the Gulfstream jet at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday, but Kelce did not arrive until 7:00 p.m.

When Kelce finally arrived in his Hummer truck, he found the gate locked, requiring a member of Swift's security team to grant him access. The couple, who publicly began their relationship in September 2023, departed just as Kelce's brother, Jason, was arriving to return home to Philadelphia.

This week marks a bye week for the Chiefs, with their next game scheduled for October 20 against the San Francisco 49ers in California. Kelce, 35, recently celebrated a successful home game where Swift was present to support him, attending in a Vivienne Westwood plaid corset and matching miniskirt. During the game against the New Orleans Saints, Swift cheered for Kelce, especially when he executed a lateral pass to teammate Samaje Perine.

After the Chiefs' victory, Kelce and Swift were seen displaying affection in the VIP suite alongside their fathers, Ed Kelce and Scott Swift. Kelce has remained coy about their plans for the bye week, keeping details under wraps during a recent episode of the New Heights podcast with his brother.
