The early access launch of ‘Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero’ has excited fans, but the game's extreme difficulty has sparked debate within the community.

Known for delivering intense battles true to the anime, the Dragon Ball franchise typically balances challenge with accessibility. However, ‘Sparking! Zero’ seems to have pushed the difficulty too far, with many players requesting adjustments, particularly for one notorious fight.

On Reddit, users have criticized the battle against Great Ape Vegeta, with player MountainDou highlighting the relentless Galick Gun attacks that overwhelm players.

Similarly, user Cirkusleader noted that some story mode sections feel "borderline impossible," with enemies dealing excessive damage and performing complex combos with little warning. The general consensus is that Spike Chunsoft, the game's developer, should issue a balance patch.

While only a limited number of players have access to the game at this stage, the overwhelming number of posts about the AI’s difficulty suggests a widespread issue.

Some argue that players should spend more time in tutorials to master the mechanics, but even veteran players are struggling with certain encounters.

Whether or not these complaints will lead to adjustments before the full launch remains uncertain, but many agree that the Great Ape Vegeta fight, in particular, needs rebalancing.
