Bobby Shmurda has made some bold allegations regarding Meek Mill's departure from Roc Nation, claiming the label played a part in spreading rumors about Meek and Diddy's relationship. In a recent interview with *The Danza Project*,

Shmurda suggested that Meek's decision to leave Roc Nation in July 2022 triggered a smear campaign. "I’ma tell you what’s going on with Meek. I left the team that Meek was on. Meek left that team. [If] you leave that team, they come for you. It’s like a relationship with these labels. It’s like leaving a girl with a lot of power. She’s gonna try to make your life a living hell," Shmurda stated, adding that the label was responsible for the rumors about Meek and Diddy.

Meek Mill left Roc Nation in mid-2022, citing internal disputes and wanting more control over his business ventures.

"All I seen today was meek and roc part ways…I’m personally handling my own business so I can take risks and grow. We came to that agreement together," Meek explained. He also clarified his continued connection with the label, particularly in his Dreamchasers imprint and involvement with the Reform Alliance, which he co-founded with Jay-Z to combat unjust sentencing laws. "And roc nation is my family, don’t mix my post aimed at Atlantic mixed up with roc or MMG."

Despite this clarification, rumors about Meek and Diddy persisted, stemming from a lawsuit filed by Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones, who claimed Diddy had an intimate relationship with "a Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj."

Meek has consistently denied these allegations, even offering $100,000 to anyone who could produce evidence to back the claims.

"I wanna hire an investigative team 100k cash to find out every specific detail involving meek mill name to ‘Diddy’ Case…. Something not right," Meek tweeted in response to the rumors.

Shmurda, who also claimed to have been the target of a similar smear campaign, expressed frustration over the impact of such rumors. "They tried to call me gay. I’m not even mad at them doing it; it be the n-ggas that believe it," Shmurda stated during the interview.
