Controversial internet personality Andrew Tate has thrown his support behind YouTube star IShowSpeed, who is currently attempting to break the 24-hour backflip world record.

According to Guinness World Records, Austrian athlete Nico Scheicher holds the title with 1,001 backflips in a single day. IShowSpeed will need to exceed that number within 24 hours to secure the record.

In a post on X, Tate praised IShowSpeed’s dedication, contrasting it with the streamer’s previous antics.

"Instead of screaming at babies, IShowSpeed is finally doing something cool. It's cool because it takes dedication and hard work," Tate remarked.

The former kickboxer-turned-influencer encouraged fans to support the YouTuber's effort, adding, "Support him on his mission to break the backflip world record."

Tate’s backing comes as a surprise, considering his previous criticism of IShowSpeed earlier this year.

Tate had mocked the streamer for making a child cry during a viral video, a moment that garnered widespread attention.

"I’ve never seen a clip of this di**head I thought was beneficial or useful for any young person to watch," Tate’s brother, Tristan, commented at the time, calling IShowSpeed’s behavior harmful to the youth.

While Tristan has yet to comment on IShowSpeed's backflip attempt, Andrew Tate appears to have changed his opinion. Now, he is urging his followers to rally behind the streamer as he attempts to break a significant world record.
