Elon Musk has claimed that several prominent billionaires, including Bill Gates and Reid Hoffman, are afraid of a Donald Trump victory in the 2024 election because it could lead to the release of names connected to Jeffrey Epstein.

In a recent interview with Tucker Carlson on X, formerly Twitter, the Tesla CEO alleged that these individuals are concerned a Trump presidency would expose Epstein’s associates.

"I think part of why Kamala’s getting so much support is that if Trump wins, that Epstein client list is gonna become public," Musk stated, naming Gates and Hoffman, both major Democratic donors, as examples. "He’s terrified of a Trump victory," Musk added, referring to Hoffman, his former PayPal colleague.

Musk also claimed there are "several thousand hours of footage" related to Epstein’s crimes and expressed frustration over the lack of prosecution for Epstein's associates while January 6 rioters were charged.

Bill Gates has previously expressed regret for his meetings with Epstein, citing philanthropy as the reason for their interactions. Reid Hoffman, according to reports, visited Epstein's private island to raise funds for MIT.

The interview concluded with Musk and Carlson joking about the consequences if Trump loses the election, with Musk quipping about the potential length of his prison sentence in such a scenario.
