Gold prices dip in Pakistan coinciding with global trends

Gold prices in Pakistan have fallen, with 24-karat gold now at Rs 274,700 per tola, down by Rs 1,000.

The price of gold in Pakistan experienced a decline, with 24-karat gold selling for Rs 274,700 per tola, down by Rs 1,000.

According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold is now reported at Rs 235,511 per 10 grams, marking a decrease of Rs 857.

Similarly, 22-karat gold saw a dip, priced at Rs 215,885 per 10 grams.

In the global market, spot gold traded near $2,647 an ounce, gaining $4.1 or 0.15% from the previous session.

Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market remained stable, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs 3,050 per tola and Rs 2,615 per 10 grams.

Earlier today, the currency market showed minor fluctuations today, with the Pakistani rupee holding steady against major currencies.

The USD was quoted at Rs 278.50 for buying and Rs 279.75 for selling.

Meanwhile, the British Pound (GBP) saw trading rates of Rs 360.90 for buying and Rs 364.50 for selling.

The Euro (EUR) was priced at Rs 302.75 for buying and Rs 305.75 for selling.

On the other hand, The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued its bullish trend on Tuesday.

KSE-100 index surging by 665.81 points, or 0.78% reaching an all-time high of 85,576.10 points during intra - day trading.
