Five-day break for schools! Exciting news for students

Students will enjoy five days off as schools close from October 12 to 16 ahead of the SCO summit in Islamabad.

Students have received some exciting news: educational institutions will be closed from October 12 to October 16.

As part of the preparations for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, the federal government is taking strict measures.

Residents in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi will have three holidays from October 14 to October 16.

Students will enjoy a long weekend since schools will be closed on Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13.

Consequently, with the additional holidays declared by the government, educational institutions will remain closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, providing students with five consecutive days off.

The SCO summit, which will be held in Islamabad on October 15 and 16, will include various heads of state and their representatives.

Additionally, the military has been deployed in Islamabad under Article 245 for security during the summit and will remain stationed until October 17.

Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar is also scheduled to visit Pakistan for the SCO summit, marking his first trip to the country on October 15.
