Emraan Hashmi injured on set of 'Goodachari 2' while filming action scene

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi sustained a neck injury while filming an action sequence for his upcoming Telugu movie, "Goodachari 2" in Hyderabad.

The actor reportedly injured himself during a jump sequence, leaving a deep cut. A photo of the injury, where he is bleeding, has gone viral on social media, raising concerns among fans.

According to Indian media reports, Emraan Hashmi was injured on Monday evening while shooting for the film, which marks his debut in South cinema.

Despite the incident, there are no reports of significant production delays.

His business associate, Sunny Khanna, confirmed that the actor suffered a deep cut on his neck but is expected to return to Mumbai on Tuesday.

As of now, Hashmi has not released an official statement regarding his injury.

"Goodachari 2" is a sequel to Adivi Sesh’s blockbuster spy action film, "Goodachari" (2018), and features an ensemble cast that includes Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, and Jagapathi Babu.

Directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, Adivi Sesh reprises his role as Agent Gopi in the sequel. The film is scheduled for theatrical release in March 2025.
