Seven terrorists killed in CTD ops

The operation was reportedly triggered by local residents.

MIANWALI:

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) launched a decisive operation near the Makarlwal hills in Mianwali, resulting in the elimination of seven suspected terrorists.

Acting on intelligence reports of militants, allegedly linked to extremist factions, the CTD conducted the raid and recovered a cache of weapons, including Kalashnikov rifles, explosives, and ammunition.

The operation was reportedly triggered by local residents who had informed authorities about the militants' presence two days earlier.

A fierce gun battle ensued between the security forces and the terrorists, culminating in the death of the seven suspects, whose bodies have been transferred to a hospital for identification.
