New details have surfaced about the night Justin Timberlake was arrested for a DUI in the Hamptons in mid-June.

Timberlake, who was stopped in Sag Harbor, was reportedly out with his longtime friend and interior designer Estee Stanley, and her husband, Bryan Furst, that evening.

Sources informed Page Six that the group had dinner at The American Hotel before Timberlake was pulled over after swerving through a stop sign.

Stanley, a close friend of Timberlake’s wife, Jessica Biel, has a long-standing connection with the couple, having styled Biel in the past and collaborated with Timberlake on the 2012 home goods line, HomeMint.

Their friendship extends back years, and Stanley has even described Timberlake and Biel as “practically my family.” The group was together the night Timberlake was stopped and arrested after reportedly refusing a breathalyzer test.

In September, Timberlake pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of driving while alcohol-impaired. He was sentenced to a $500 fine, 25 hours of community service, and required to author a public service announcement.

Timberlake’s comment to the arresting officer—“This is going to ruin the tour”—made headlines, particularly when the officer, who didn’t recognize the singer, replied, “What tour?”
