LAHORE:

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman on Saturday lashed out at the incumbent regime, saying holding protest in the federal capital was the PTI's right, adding that the government should facilitate them in this regard.

Addressing a news conference in Mansoora, the JI chief expressed concern over the prevailing situation in the country.

"We demand of the government to grant all political parties the freedom to hold rallies at locations of their choosing. [Government measures have] caused problems for the entire Punjab. Motorway and GT road are closed. Pakistanis are suffering" he said.
