‘CEO of A List Smiles’ arrested for illegal dental practice
Georgia authorities have shut down an illegal dental practice run by Brandon Dillard, who falsely claimed to be the "CEO of A List Smiles."
From January 2021 to September 2024, Dillard performed dental procedures, including veneer installations, without a valid license, according to a criminal complaint filed by Michael Hill II, assistant chief investigator for the Fulton County District Attorney's Office.
Dillard promoted his services on his Instagram account, @alistbrandon, which has 160,000 followers. He shared videos of himself performing veneer procedures and even organized raffles for $5,500 veneer treatments. In addition, Dillard offered "veneer training" courses, charging up to $6,000 to train others—who were also unlicensed—to perform dental work.
Following a raid on his business, "A List Smiles Atlanta," Dillard was arrested and is currently being held at Fulton County Jail. He faces eight charges, including felony practicing dentistry without a license and violating the Georgia Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis urged Dillard's patients and trainees to come forward, warning that they could also face legal consequences if practicing dentistry without a license. Willis stressed that although Dillard's clinic appeared professional, it posed significant health risks to patients.
