Country music star Garth Brooks' wife, Trisha Yearwood, sold their Tennessee mansion for $3.334 million on October 2nd, 2024, according to public records. The sale came just one day before Brooks was accused of rape and sexual assault by a former hairstylist and makeup artist identified as "Jane Roe" in a lawsuit filed on October 3rd.

Yearwood purchased the 5-bedroom, 7-bathroom home in Brentwood, Tennessee in 2000, five years before her marriage to Brooks. The 4.42-acre property was initially listed for $4.5 million in May 2023 and underwent several price reductions before the sale.

The lawsuit against Brooks alleges that the singer engaged in inappropriate behavior towards Roe in 2019, including making sexually suggestive comments, exposing himself, and sending explicit text messages. Brooks has denied the allegations, stating that the lawsuit is a "shakedown" attempt.

The timing of the mansion sale and the subsequent lawsuit has raised questions, with some speculating whether the sale was motivated by the impending legal battle. However, there is no evidence to support this claim.
