Cardi B is addressing the rumors surrounding her relationship with estranged husband, Offset, after fans speculated the two might be reconciling.

On Thursday (October 3), Offset appeared on Instagram Live from Cardi’s home studio, sparking rumors that the couple could be patching things up despite their ongoing divorce proceedings.

However, Cardi B quickly shut down the rumors by going live herself, setting the record straight.

“One thing I don’t want to entertain is, ‘Oh, we’re in the same crib. Come upstairs, let’s sleep together,’” Cardi B said on Instagram Live.

“I don’t want to entertain that because that’s what keeps us being in the same trap.” She went on to explain, “It’s like, oh, we sleep together, we’re cuddling. The next day we’re smiling, and then guess what? The same day we’re arguing and then we’re back in that cycle.”

The couple recently exchanged heated words online, with Offset accusing Cardi of cheating while pregnant, and Cardi firing back, accusing Offset of infidelity on multiple occasions.

Despite the turmoil, Cardi emphasized the importance of co-parenting for the sake of their three children, especially their newborn daughter.

“It’s kind of hard, and I don’t even want to talk about it because I don’t want to get emotional,” Cardi shared.

“But it’s kind of hard when, as an adult, you get used to a certain type of lifestyle without being with somebody, but it’s also kind of hard for your kids to get used to that. So it’s like, slowly but surely, that has to happen.”

Cardi also highlighted the importance of Offset’s presence in their children’s lives, especially their youngest.

“I don’t ever want my little baby to get used to, like, my dad, or get used to my cousin,” she said, emphasizing her commitment to a healthy co-parenting relationship. Despite the ups and downs, Cardi concluded, “Everything is dead.”
