The minister directed that the project linking the Green Line with the Orange Line be completed as soon as possible. The meeting also covered the ongoing operations, utility services, and subsidies for the Green Line bus service.
Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the Green Line project is a key component of Karachi’s public transport system.
He stated that the federal government would hand over the Green Line project to the Sindh government in December 2024, and he expressed hope that the connection to the Orange Line would be completed before that date.
